ROAST MY DATING PATTERN

What Is the APTI Test?

The APTI (Attraction Pattern Type Indicator) is a free, roast-style dating personality quiz designed for women who are done pretending their dating patterns are random. It asks 20 honest questions about how you actually behave when you like someone — not how you think you behave, not how your therapist wishes you behaved — and matches you to one of 16 four-letter type codes like APEX, BOSS, COPE, or FLEE. Each code maps to a specific pattern in how you choose, chase, or catastrophically ignore red flags in the men you date.

The whole thing takes about five minutes. There are no right answers, no participation trophies, and absolutely no gentle letdowns. Your result page breaks down your screening blind spot — the consistent way you sabotage your own standards — and connects it to the Provider Dating Reality Check (PDRC) screening framework. Think of it as a diagnostic before you get the actual toolkit.

Fair warning: the results are accurate enough to make you screenshot them and send to your group chat with the caption "I feel attacked." That is by design.

How It Works

You answer 20 multiple-choice questions about your real dating behavior — how you react when he goes quiet for three days, what you do when you spot a dealbreaker on date two, whether you have ever Googled a man's property records before the second date. Standard stuff.

The algorithm scores you across four behavioral dimensions and assigns you a four-letter APTI type. Each type reveals a specific pattern in how you select, screen, or consistently fail to screen romantic partners. Your result page includes your blind spot breakdown, your crisis pattern (what you do when the relationship actually gets tested), your best and worst type matches, and a direct path to the PDRC framework that fixes the pattern instead of just naming it.

The 16 APTI Types

Every result is a four-letter code. Every code is a personality you will unfortunately recognize. Here they all are:

Who This Test Is For

This test was built for women who date with intention — not for entertainment, not for ego validation, and definitely not for the kind of person who thinks "he'll change" counts as a screening strategy. Specifically:

  • Women who want to understand why they keep ending up with the same type of wrong person, dressed in a slightly different outfit
  • Women interested in provider dating frameworks — evaluating men on character, consistency, and financial responsibility rather than chemistry alone
  • Women who suspect they have a screening blind spot but cannot name it because they are too busy living inside it
  • Women who have read all the dating advice, know all the theory, and still somehow ended up texting him back at midnight

If you already know your pattern and want to fix it, skip the test and go straight to the PDRC screening framework. If you are not sure what your pattern is yet, that is exactly what the APTI is for.
